ALERT: Did you think that, because Barack Hussein Obama has called for a "bipartisan healthcare reform summit" on Feb. 25th, that the Democrats were serious about starting over and including the Republicans' ideas in their plans?
Here's the "trick" that Obama, Pelosi and Reid are planning to use to ram ObamaCare through: it's called "reconciliation". As the Wall Street Journal explains, "House Democrats would pass a series of ‘fixes' to the Senate bill. The Senate would then pass the House reconciliation bill, sending amendments to President Obama to a bill that -- strictly speaking -- didn't exist, because it hadn't yet emerged from the House. The House would then retroactively pass the Senate bill as is."

So by using the "reconciliation" process, the Senate will only need 51 votes to pass their socialized healthcare bill!

Regardless of the fact that the biggest reason Republican Scott Brown was elected to Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat was because he promised to help kill ObamaCare -- Democrats are still willing to use more corrupt tactics to get it passed! In fact, the liberals on the far left have their own interpretation of why Brown won: "people want more change... bolder change... more populism... and the public option is that in this healthcare fight." Check out this YouTube video where they state very clearly that the socialized healthcare "public option" is "back on the table" and will be passed by using the "reconciliation process" -- because in their minds, that's what "Americans want"!

Are they serious about using this trick to pass their bill? You BET they are. Nancy Pelosi, on a conference call with bloggers, said, "We will not be deterred from this course of getting something done one way or another, and I'm hoping it will... be mainly by passing the comprehensive bill. That's our plan."

Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel of New York stated that they are looking to start the process soon, and that he believed both chambers could muster the votes needed for passage, despite virtually unanimous GOP opposition. And Harry Reid said a scenario in which the House produces a reconciliation package "seems like a strong possibility." In fact, As of Thursday afternoon, 17 Senate Democrats were pushing Reid to use reconciliation rules to sidestep a Republican filibuster of health care reform.

We CAN still stop ObamaCare, by STOPPING the Democrats from using the "reconciliation" parliamentary trick... but we can't do it without YOUR help!

TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE -- BETTER KNOWN AS "OBAMACARE":
SEND YOUR FAXES, MAKE YOUR PHONE CALLS NOW!

TAKE ACTION: It's obvious that Barack Obama and House and Senate Democrats intend their proposed "healthcare reform summit" as a public display and NOT a genuine dialogue. But their game has been exposed. Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl of Arizona told CNN that "they've devised the process by which they can jam the bill through that the president has supported in the past, without Republican ideas in it." But the problem, Kyl said, is that "reconciliation is not the process for comprehensive bills like this. It's for balancing the budget!"

We don't have much time to stop the Democrats' trickery in their march towards socialized healthcare. Congress returns from their President's Day recess this coming week. We CANNOT let the radical liberals in Congress -- and the White House -- force this plan for socialized health care on the American people! That's why we've set up our website to enable you to send a strong message to every single member of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, OPPOSING this outrageous plan.

For about what it would cost you in time and telephone charges, you can send Blast Faxes to Democrats, Republicans, Independents -- EVERYONE in BOTH houses of Congress, DEMANDING that they REJECT this socialized health care plan NOW!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT SOCIALIZED HEALTH
CARE -- BETTER KNOWN AS "OBAMACARE":
SEND YOUR FAXES NOW!
This fight CAN BE WON! Please, take action right away to STOP this bill in the U.S. Congress!

WRONG! According to liberal bastion The New York Times, “President Obama will put forward comprehensive health care legislation intended to bridge differences between Senate and House Democrats ahead of a summit meeting with Republicans next week, senior administration officials and Congressional aides said Thursday.”

But that’s not all they’re reporting:
Democratic officials said the president’s proposal was being written so that it could be attached to a budget bill as a way of averting a Republican filibuster in the Senate. The procedure, known as budget reconciliation, would let Democrats advance the bill with a simple majority rather than a 60-vote supermajority.
So, in other words, Obama is LYING about compromising on his healthcare plans, and Reid and Pelosi are preparing to use a parliamentary trick to ram ObamaCare down the throats of the American people!

Anti-Tea Party Web Site Part of Scheme to Funnel Funds

By Joseph Abrams - FOXNews.com

A new Web site targeting the tea parties is a part of a complex network of money flowing from the mountainous coffers of the country's biggest labor unions and trickling slowly into political slush funds for Democratic activists.

A seemingly grassroots organization that's mounted an online campaign to counter the tea party movement is actually the front end of an elaborate scheme that funnels funds -- including sizable labor union contributions -- through the offices of a prominent Democratic party lawyer.

A Web site popped up in January dedicated to preventing the tea party's "radical" and "dangerous" ideas from "gaining legislative traction," targeting GOP candidates in Illinois for the firing squad.

"This movement is a fad," proclaims TheTeaPartyIsOver.org, which was established by the American Public Policy Center (APPC), a D.C.-based campaign shop that few people have ever heard of.

But a close look reveals the APPC's place in a complex network of money flowing from the mountainous coffers of the country's biggest labor unions into political slush funds for Democratic activists.

Here's how it works: What appears like a local groundswell is in fact the creation of two men -- Craig Varoga and George Rakis, Democratic Party strategists who have set up a number of so-called 527 groups, the non-profit election organizations that hammer on contentious issues (think Swift Boats, for example).

Varoga and Rakis keep a central mailing address in Washington, pulling in soft money contributions from unions and other well-padded sources to engage in what amounts to a legal laundering system. The money -- tens of millions of dollars -- gets circulated around to different states by the 527s, which pay for TV ads, Internet campaigns and lobbyist salaries, all while keeping the hands of the unions clean -- for the most part.

The system helps hide the true sources of funding, giving the appearance of locally bred opposition in states from Oklahoma to New Jersey, or in the case of the Tea Party Web site, in Illinois.

HJR 1054 is still available for a hearing in the House Rules committee anytime within our committee deadline which extends for another four weeks. The practice of placing a bill or resolution on an agenda one week and hearing it in a subsequent week is a common practice.

While many may have assumed that HJR 1054 would be heard this week simply because it was placed on an agenda is a misplaced assumption.

The House is currently reviewing a myriad of state question proposals and viewing each in both the context of each resolutions language and the overall number of questions that could go on the ballot.

Again I can assure you that having a bill or resolution not heard in the first week of committee meetings does not equate to that legislation not moving forward.

Finally, for the record, no one has disdain and concern over “Obama-care” more than I.

Sincerely,

Chris Benge

Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance (OCA)

Rally at the capitol on Monday, February 2, 2010, 10 am, first floor rotunda. Be ready to visit your Senator and Representative and start twisting arms. We have a massive legislative agenda including a law that stops Obama Care at the state border.

After a short rally, we go up and pack the House and Senate galleys. If the seats fill up, keep circulating between the two. The legislators will be conducting business, but they will notice a large crowd filing through the galleys. They won't have time to realize that you are coming in and going back out; they will think there are far more people than there are if we use this trick.

If you can't attend, please send as many emails and phone calls as you can between 9 am and 5 pm. Pick the email addresses and phone numbers of the state sites show below. Please mention the OCA (Oklahoma Constitutional Alliance) legislative agenda and that you support our goals. Try to get friends and family to attend or call the capitol. This is “do or die” day for the conservative constitutional movement here in Oklahoma.

OKC TEA PARTY SAYS, “THANK YOU!”

The leadership of the OKC Tea Party would like to thank all of our supporters, who attended the January 9th, Take Back America fundraiser. Your generous contributions made the event a resounding success! Funds donated will be used to promote and hold upcoming rallies on Tax Day, April 15th and on Independence Day, July 4th, and will enable us to sponsor political debates during the 2010 election season and make needed improvements to our website.

We would also like to thank our speakers Mark Shannon, Stuart Jolly, Carol Hefner, Katrina Pearson, and Dan Fisher for their motivational words, as well as a great, local band, Overdrive, who provided music for the event.

Since the fundraiser, many of you have asked if you can still contribute….and the answer is, “Yes!” Please send your donations to: OKC Tea Party, P.O. Box 94851, Oklahoma City, OK, 73143. For additional questions regarding donations, please contact us at: www.teapartynews@gmail.com.

And...for those of you who were unable to attend, please, take a moment to view Dan Fisher’s inspiring, emotional appeal to our fellow patriots on YouTube ( If you go to YouTube, type in Dan Fisher's Message in the search field).

And then join us, at the State Capitol, on Tax Day, April 15th, in the fight to “Take Back America in 2010!”

Former Radical and now Conservative David Horowitz and Centrist Democrat Pat Caddell engage in a very frank exchange exposing the details of what mainly Center-Right Americans are up against in the current political struggle of visible entities and participants. They state we are not in a business as usual political struggle anymore. Once again, no matter how uncomfortable it makes people feel, David Horowitz uses the term "war".
